Rated 5 out of 5 by JBCT from Very happy about this purchase! Loving the look of this fire pit and the way it complements our decor. The pull out tray for the ashes is awesome, but there is no tool that comes with the pit to help you push those ashes down into that tray. The opening is a bit smaller than our old one so our already cut wood is a little long, but nothing an axe can’t fix! We bought the screen guard and poker and soooo worth it! The poker even has a bottle opener on it! We are really enjoying this firepit and our friends with other smokeless brands are jealous of the classy look and ease of ash removal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dgpolara from Great Fire pit I received this as a gift to replace my old one. My first fire was with the wood pack that came with it. Easy to light up. I also got a box with 4 wood packs. I opened one bag and placed some of the chips into a regular paper bag, just to start the fire and then I placed fire logs in it, again it made nice fire.I cleaned the ashes with a 4 inch brush, it stay like no fire was in it, the color didn’t change much. The ash tray comes out and dump it after it cools off.I left the fire pit with the cover on during the rain and no water got in. Not much smoke comes out and we can leave the patio door open.Looks well built.Extremely happy with it!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by IcutMetl from Great fire pit overall. Love our new fire pit; it’s well made, looks better on our patio vs. a stainless steel tube, and I like the design & features. Is it as smokeless as others? Ehh…not sure. It’s level of smoke depends on a few factors and I’ve noticed the hotter the fire the less smoke there is. The wood pellets in a lighter fluid sack might be a selling point for the skinny jean crowd that can’t deal with firewood, but nothing beats well seasoned hardwood in my opinion.

Questions & Answers
Can I burn bamboo in the fire pit? I know bamboo burns hot and fast.
Asked by: Jane
Thank you for your question! The Fire Pit was designed to work specifically with the TIKI Wood Packs and as result, do not use with fuel sources other than the TIKI® Brand Wood Pack or natural cut firewood. -TIKI Brand

Will it leave a burn mark on my pavers, should I place additional pavers underneath it to prevent discoloring of the patio... Or do the legs keep it high enough off the ground?
Asked by: SJ12
Thank you for your question! Since pavers are generally non-combustible, they would likely pass our recommendation of not placing the Fire Pit on any combustible surfaces. If placing on pavers, we recommend using a heat-resistant mat under the Fire Pit. We hope this helps. -TIKI Brand

What is the cone for? Do I need to keep it in while putting wood on top?
Asked by: Brett
Thanks for the question! The center cone is designed to create optimal burning conditions and airflow. The cone is what helps the Wood Pack ignite quickly, burn evenly, and deliver the predictable ~30-minute burn duration. You can place traditional firewood over the cone as well, up to 16 inches long so it fits within the fire pit bowl. If you will not be using a Wood Pack and want more room for firewood, you can start the fire without the cone (remove it before any burning begins). It can also be removed for cleaning. We hope this helps. – TIKI Brand

I’ve been using the fire pit since last summer and no matter what I use - tiki pellet packs, tiki wood, traditional firewood - we have normal smoke, similar to a traditional fire pit. What am I doing wrong and what should be done to reduce the smoke?
Asked by: TJF812
Thank you for your question! We apologize for this experience with your Fire Pit. We would recommend using the center cone when using Wood Packs. Smoke level is dependent upon the wood used and other varying burn conditions. If you plan on starting your fire with natural cut firewood, first remove the center cone from the Fire Pit. Stack kindling, newspaper, or a commercially-available fire starter in the center of the Fire Pit and place your larger pieces of wood around the fire starter. Be sure that the firewood doesn't stick over the edge of the Fire Pit as this affects secondary combustion, which results in more smoke. Please ensure that the Fire Pit Ash Pan is cleaned after every use. We hope this helps. -TIKI Brand
